B.L.T. and Mushroom Salad Recipe:


               B.L.T. and Mushroom Salad

Amount Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

   4    large         tomatoes
                      Lettuce leaves
   1    pound         fresh mushrooms -- sliced
   8    strips       bacon -- fried crisp, crumbled
   3    tablespoons   vegetable oil
   1    tablespoon    red wine vinegar
   1 1/2 teaspoons    salt
                      Pepper -- to taste

Cut 18 center slices from tomatoes; salt. Arrange in
6 lettuce-lined bowls. Coarsely chop tomato ends.
Toss with mushrooms, bacon, onion, oil, vinegar, salt
and pepper. Spoon over tomato slices.

Serves 6
